Hi! I'm Jorge. Im a software engineer based in the Bay Area. I focus on both front end and backend with a passion for speed and performance. I have a background in startups and love to use new technologies to solve problems!
I am currently looking for new opportunities to grow and learn. I am particularly interested in working in start ups and companies that are looking to make a difference in the world. I love finding new and creative ways to solve problems and am always looking for new challenges, while at the same time ensuring that we can provide valueable features to our users.
Outside of work, I enjoy listening to hip hop music, producing beats, and playing dota! I am also a huge fan of star wars and I am currently working on a project to create a Kessel Sabacc game! ♠️

Experience.
• Created API and documentation for a catering order aggregator which pulled from 13+ catering platforms APIs and emails, along with creating forecasting API for orders.
• Created integrations between variety of IOT devices for mobile apps and websites to utilize thermometers, and printers.
• Developed mobile application for workflow automation which was integrated with a thermometer.
• Created automated sales emails using Cron Jobs to analyze sales trends and consolidate multiple locations sales, along with sending sales information to TurboTax API.
• Developed different layouts and user controls in Unity and C# for the Oculus Quest, with each layout focusing on ease of use, speed, compactness, or organic movement.
• Submission made to NASA MINDS projects as proposal for replacing Space Shuttle clunky and outdated hardware with virtual command boards.
